PAX Masters Qualifier

PAXheaderSo we had the PAX Masters qualifier tournament on Saturday. Turnout was smaller than I would have liked to have seen, but the lists were nasty and the games were close.

On top of a chance to play at the PAX tourney, my guys were playing for a chance to win these:

Mmmm... shiny

And a shot with better lighting. They're nice and hefty if you haven't had the chance to see or hold them in person.

So yes, James Kater took 1st place with his dirty Cryx list and will be representing Boise — and Idaho — at the PAX Masters Invitational in September.

It should be one hell of a road trip. 😉

Edit: Mike’s tourney report is here.

One Response to PAX Masters Qualifier

yup road trip will be in my future, it will take a bit of work, but it is going to happen. Like i mentioned when I was excited for the qualifier, I am even more excited for the Masters tourney. I probably won’t pack Cryx, I will probably pack my Circle, and try to have a good showing, not try to win the whole shebang.

What jen didn’t mention was that each of my games was, I had to pull it out on my turn or else I wouldn’t have the trophy right now.

Best part for me, was I was able to back up the talk before the first round was paired up which was simply I would win the day no questions asked. I also jokingly said to Jen to give Dick Link to me as my first “victim”. Since we had smacked talk a bit.

Thanks for running the tourney Jen. Watch out Seattle, watch PPS!!! Dicewraith is bringing his dice hate and his orange Circle to PAX
